About artist
My name is Ekaterina Siccardi.
In 2024 I graduated Moscow Academic Art College where I studied restoration of icons and engravings, studied a strong academic painting and drawing.
In 2026, I moved to Italy and got married. This new chapter in my life also marked the beginning of a new chapter in my creative journey. Living in Italy, travelling, and discovering new places inspired me to explore landscape painting more actively.
But these are not just landscapes. They are places that my husband has seen, places we have discovered together, and moments we have experienced during our travels.
We often travel and take pictures along the way. When I see a landscape that inspires me, I immediately begin to imagine it as a painting — it's colours, atmosphere, light, and mood. After returning from a trip, I recreate that feeling on canvas, transforming a picture and a memory into something personal and artistic.
I work with a variety of media, but my favourites are watercolour, acrylic, and oil. Each medium allows me to tell a story in a different way, and I enjoy discovering the unique character and possibilities of each one.
